Last week was a special one...our little man had his second birthday! We had a little party for him the weekend before his birthday. It was kind of last minute, but he had a blast. On his real birthday, we spent the evening just the four of us. It wasn't too difficult to find something we knew he would love to do. We took him to the beach so he could run around and play. We brought along one of his favorite things in the world, his shovel from Grandpa. We had a small audience for a little while, people walking by commenting, "Honey, look at that little boy with the shovel. Wow, he's pretty good at using that thing! Can I hire him?" We assured people that he would be happy to dig holes in anyone's yard, but we can't promise that they will be where you want them.
So...Any takers?

Sweet! I've been waiting for a BD post- this is a perfect "snapshot" of him at two... You're right, his energy and enthusiasm is contagious and endearing. I can't believe how grown up he looks... We love you, big little Timmy!!
