LT has been into "tars" (translation: guitars) for at least a year now. While lots of kids his age are watching curious monkeys or purple dinosaurs galavant around on the television, our little guy loves watching people rock out! Two year old appropriate rockin out, that is...don't worry, he won't be smashing guitars and wearing leather pants by his 3rd birthday. Right now John Mayer Soundstage and Coldplay videos are among the favorites. His attention span for sitting and watching is still rather short (10 minutes max), but he almost always asks to hold Jackson when he watches "tar videos". Last time I just had to snap a picture of these two. Timmy insists on holding Jack on the boppy on his lap. Is it just me, or is Jack outgrowing the boppy and the lap?
LT loves to read this Thomas the Train book he got from his great grandparents for Christmas. He's memorized the words to a couple of the stories and is now "reading" them to anyone who will listen. It turns out that Baby Jack is a great listener.
Trucks are something that I hear about all day long. Not just any truck though. We're talking big rigs, bulldozers, giant excavators, tractors, and the list goes on! I am now officially schooled on all things trucks, thanks to my two year old and a few truck books. Even Daddy is learning lots.
