afternoon adventure

Last week we went on a little hike that started out with a picnic lunch. Sitting on the grass and eating lunch is soooo funny with LT. I mean, it doesn't happen, really. But it's a nice thought! See, there is so much to explore! Note Daddy's grip on his arm and the part-eaten sandwich. Timmy brings new meaning to "eat and run!" We sometimes wonder if Timmy would have wasted away if there weren't such things as chairs with straps.

and you are getting really getting fast! Stopping only for water...

And an occsional bite of peanut butter and jelly...yum :)

and the waterfalls were fascinating! ....but only for a couple of minutes!

OK, so eventually we were off and he did great in the carrier. We even got a family photo! Maybe not the best, but probably the last before baby?! How exciting!

I have to thank LT for taking the time out of his busy day let me squeeze him for a moment...'cause he's just so darn lovable. I love his energy, I love his spirit...yes, I love my little boy.
